We at SCNYI would like to send greetings from the lobby of Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center at District Assembly to the following: Chester Oberg (@jesusfreak005623 bro you are a legend), Arizona State University cafeteria (@arizonastateuniversity miss you), the dry heat of Arizona (it will be 106° today), the light rail of Phoenix (confusing as all get out), our NYI Convention handbook cover person who almost fell into the Grand Canyon to get this shot, Bailey Medley (@baileymedley), the Phineas Bresee Twitter account (because why not?), the TNT rv bathroom (thanks @tnt_tnu for giving us a place to comfortably wash our hands), Hall’s Poultry Farm of Batesburg (you always reminds us of their presence at camp), the teenorama and springfest events of days past (should they come back comment below), and lastly to Jared Hall’s Pepsi can (@iamjaredhall how in the world did you do that please tell us). What a fantastic and fun convention yesterday. We love our #SCNYI family.

Congratulations to Pastor Mike and Melinda McAdory for receiving this year’s NYI Timothy Award. Mike and Melinda, we are so grateful for your many years of service in youth ministry. We are especially thankful for your many years serving #SCNYI leading TNT and Impact, as well as just being one of the sweetest families in our SCNYI family. We love you so much.

We’ve just heard report number six for our District President, Pastor David Snodgrass. David was shaped by SCNYI as a teenager and has done an incredible job leading SCNYI. David, we love you. Thank you for all that you do for SCNYI. Thank you for your love for teenagers, your love for good barbecue, your fun-loving spirit, your support of local youth pastors and youth leaders, and for your leadership. Also, thank you to Casey, Avery, and Addison, for sharing David with SCNYI and for being alongside him as he leads us. We love you three so much. David, a wise youth pastor once said it and we want to say it to you: we love you and there’s nothing you can do about it. #SCNYI
